About this Project
Blue Wing Honda (BWH) runs three distinct retail brands – Honda Outdoors, Honda Marine, and Honda Motorbikes – each with its own product mix, customer journey, and operational realities. They needed ecommerce that felt purpose-built for every brand, without creating three separate tech stacks to maintain.
Our role was to design and deliver a connected ecommerce ecosystem that brought these businesses together under a single, centrally managed platform, while still allowing each site to operate like a specialist retailer. We started with Honda Outdoors, delivering a fully integrated Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) build, then extended the same foundation across the remaining brand and dealer-focused sites.
Behind the scenes, we engineered the system to support complex catalogue and inventory requirements, and to keep product information and availability aligned with BWH’s internal systems. On the customer-facing side, we implemented structured product presentation and tailored page layouts that better match how people shop in each category, improving clarity, confidence, and conversion.
The outcome is a scalable ecommerce infrastructure that gives BWH central oversight and consistency across all brands, while still providing the flexibility to run brand-specific merchandising, promotions, and dealer experiences – without compromising performance, manageability, or future growth.
Our Approach
To support three distinct brands plus a wider dealer network, we engineered a shared ecommerce foundation with the flexibility for each site to feel purpose-built. We created a custom product and content management layer integrated it with Adobe Commerce (Magento 2), giving Blue Wing Honda central governance over catalogue and merchandising while still enabling brand-specific presentation and dealer-level control where required.

We developed a repeatable dealer website framework that balances consistency with local autonomy – allowing dealers to manage their own content and maintain a store experience aligned with their market, without breaking the wider ecosystem.
Integrated systems
We connected the ecommerce platform to Blue Wing Honda’s internal product and inventory systems so key catalogue information, pricing, and availability remain aligned across the network, reducing manual admin and keeping online storefronts in step with operational reality.
